Merry Christmas

We just wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!  We long to be with you on this very special day, but unfortunately we are 10,000 miles away.

Right now, it is 10:23 pm December 25, 2007 on the Island which means it is 10:23 am (EST) December 25, 2007.

Our Christmas is winding down but yours is just beginning.

We got up this morning at about 8:30 and proceeded to open presents.  Courtney gave Roger a new press pot and some Starbucks coffee; so we enjoyed some delicious “Christmas Blend” coffee this morning!  It was great!  We enjoyed our freshly brewed coffee in the super cute coffee cup and saucer set Roger got Courtney (also from Starbucks).

We ate some blueberry muffins for breakfast and then Courtney had to cook Macaroni and Cheese for a Christmas party we went to.  It was the first time she made it from scratch and it was wonderful.

Then, while Santa was delivering your presents, we went to a big Christmas lunch with all of our team members and some other “workers” in our city.  We had fun and we ate turkey for the first time in a year.  The natural chemical that’s in turkey that makes people sleepy had a profound effect on Roger and left him in a comatose state for the rest of the afternoon.

Now we are at home, thinking of all our family and friends in the States, hoping and praying that you are enjoying a blessed Christmas Day.  We miss you all so very much and wish that we could be celebrating with you.

We’ve attached some pictures chronicling the day’s events.

We love you and miss you,

Roger and Courtney
