Dominican Republic , - Fall Break - October, 2008 (Saturday-Saturday)
Ministry Opportunities:  Have the rewarding opportunity of going to the DR and giving your time and talents to restore the physical and spiritual health of those in need.

Expect to be immersed in the Dominican culture.  Experience the busy city of Santiago one day while visiting third-world conditions the next day as you participate in various projects.  Minister to children at "The Fly".  Serve at the feeding center.  Work with a medical clinic.  Lead a soccer or basketball clinic.  Share your testimony.  More information here.

Poland , - June 28 - July 15;  July 5 - 15
Ministry Opportunities:  Share the love of Christ with Polish children and give them an opportunity to receive His gift of salvation.  We will teach teamwork through sports, self-confidence through drama and music, and some basic English that will be needed in their future.

We will be ministering to poor children, orphans, and local children of the community.  We will have Bible studies, crafts, English classes, and sports.  During the camp week, there will be two worship services each day with the children presenting drama and music.  If you enjoy sharing Christ's love with children, laughter, and changing lives, then this is the trip for you.    More information here.

Russia - May, 2008
Ministry Opportunities:  You will have the opportunity to work alongside missionaries Patrick and Janet Goodman.  Help Patrick and Janet serve the people of Ekaterinburg.

Ekaterinburg is located 1,000 miles east of Moscow at the place where Russia divides into European and Asian Russia.

Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations around the world through gift-filled shoe boxes and the Good News of God’s love.  Shoe boxes and gifts for the shoe boxes are collected in October so that the items can reach their destination in time for Christmas.  CBC Contact Person: Teresa Mitchen at 241-6068

International Missions Offering
Typically referred to as the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, this offering directly benefits the ministry of our Southern Baptist missionaries serving around the globe.  The offering is named after Lottie Moon who was a missionary to China who sacrificially gave of herself to reach people for Christ.  The offering is received during the month of December.  CBC members and attenders are asked to set aside one week to pray for our international missionaries.
